Propane Contract – Bidding Information and Specifications

The Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District (District) is now accepting sealed bids for propane supply and delivery for the calendar year 2022-2023 cold weather season (September 2022 through July 2023).  This contract price shall be in the form of a locked-in price, not a pre-pay or pre-buy.  The price shall include all costs, including but not limited to delivery.  No taxes will apply as the District is a tax exempt entity.

Bids will include the delivery and propane to the following locations, up to the volume identified (no penalty shall apply if the entire volume is not met):

Lander Landfill Office/Shop/Breakroom               2,000 gallons

Lander Landfill Bale Building                                5,000 gallons

Sand Draw Landfill Shop                                      1,000 gallons

Bidding parties will be expected to develop a scheduled route of delivery that will ensure timely delivery of propane to the sites as usage requires.  Parties must be capable of proving “on-call” services within 24-hours for any site that deems delivery necessary.

The deadline for submitting sealed bids is September 15, 2022, at 10:00 am, delivered to the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District / Attn: Propane Bid / 52 Beebe Road / PO Box 1400 (United States Postal Services only) / Lander, Wyoming 82520.  Sealed bids must be received, accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of a cashier’s check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit, at the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District office by the due date and time.

Bids must be valid for a period of 30-days after opening.  The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.  The District further reserves the right to reject any bid whom it finds not responsible, or if believed to not be in the best interest of the District.
