Public Service Announcement:  The Dubois Landfill’s Yard Waste program suspension will remain in effect until further notice.  In 2025, the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District (District) developed additional landfill space at the Dubois Landfill property, consuming the areas where the yard waste program functioned.  Due to a lack of space to safely operate and manage the yard waste materials, the District is exploring a permanent closure of the program.  What does this mean?  All yard waste, branches, clean wood waste, waste hay and manure will be directed to the transfer station with the standard disposal fee ($80 per ton).  Please feel free to contact us with any questions at (307) 332-7040.
